Abstract

Awarded annually for the three best doctoral dissertations in physics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and the universities of Göttingen and Heidelberg. I received the 1st rank award for 2025, endowed with €6,000. Since 2017, the prize has been awarded by the KIT Freundeskreis und Fördergesellschaft e.V. (KFG) of KIT, in collaboration with the German Physical Society (DPG), in honor of nuclear physicist Otto Haxel (1909–1998), who conducted his research at these three institutions.
